Oklahoma Arthritis Center/Oklahoma Infusion Services opens Tulsa practice

EDMOND, Okla. (Sept. 20, 2019) – Oklahoma Arthritis Center of Edmond opened a new location in Tulsa Sept. 10, offering a full array of arthritis treatments as well as patient infusion services.

Founded in 2000 by Dr. Craig W. Carson, Oklahoma Arthritis Center specializes in providing an integrated health care model for the most comprehensive treatment available for patients with arthritis and autoimmune diseases and conditions.

The Tulsa practice, at 6135 S. 90th East Ave., is under the banner of Oklahoma Arthritis Center as well as Oklahoma Infusion Services – just like their Edmond office.

“As our practice has grown, we found that there was a substantial demand for infusion medications and services, not just for arthritis patients, but those with a variety of other autoimmune conditions,” Dr. Carson said. He noted that patients will travel from as far away as Guymon to his Edmond location – and he sees patients from the Tulsa area as well. Some patients had to wait months for an appointment.

“We reached a point where we had to decide whether to close the practice to new patients, or to expand to meet that growing demand,” Carson said. “It quickly became apparent that there was a great need out there, and we felt like we had to do more.”

Carson plans to practice in Tulsa with Amanda Bibbs, APRN, NP-C.

In addition to the Tulsa facility, Oklahoma Arthritis Center and Oklahoma Infusion Services plan to open a new location in Enid, Okla., in October 2019.

Oklahoma Arthritis Center and Oklahoma Infusion Services offers a patient-friendly infusion center staffed by a highly-qualified nursing team and on-site providers supervised by physicians with more than 50 years of combined experience. The company offers safe, effective and affordable infusion and injection therapies for chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoporosis, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, migraines, Crohn’s disease, allergy, asthma and other autoimmune disorders.
